Falsettos is a bold, tender, and deeply human musical that explores family, love, and identity in all their messy, beautiful complexity.

Set at the intersection of chosen family and biological ties, the story follows Marvin, his ex-wife, his son, his lover, and the community that forms around them as they navigate relationships, responsibility, and what it means to truly show up for one another. With wit, vulnerability, and a soaring score, Falsettos captures the joy and heartbreak of loving imperfectly — and loving anyway.

At The Wayward Artist, we are drawn to stories that center queer lives, challenge traditional notions of family, and honor the courage it takes to live authentically. Falsettos embodies that spirit with humor, honesty, and profound compassion, inviting audiences to laugh, ache, and reflect on how we care for one another in the face of change, loss, and hope.
